Writing for Tales would honestly be a dream come true. I love storytelling and gaming, and Tales is the perfect intersection of the two. Storytelling is both a passion and skillset of mine, from creating comics for my Patreon subscribers, to making storyboards and animations, to excelling in interactive roleplaying games with friends. My short form fiction has been published in literary magazines at my university, and my commitment to storytelling has, and continues to guide my career path. For two years, I served as Senior Intern for the literary magazine Blood Orange Review, editing stories and supporting the Editor-In-Chief. For four years, I served as a Mentor Consultant for WSU’s Undergraduate Writing Center, mentoring students in writing organization, clarity, and craft. My commitment to storytelling surpasses work, as it is also how I spend my free time. I recently finished as storyboarding class taught by Justin Copeland (Into the Spiderverse; Kipo), focused on the art of storytelling, and I beta read fanfiction for my friends on AO3. As a writer for Tales, I would apply my knowledge, experience, and passion to the stories I write and to supporting the stories of my coworkers.
