As an adopted and multiracial woman, it is my goal to share my experience existing in the world through story-telling. Creative writing, for me, is a way I can heal myself and others. Creating safe spaces for minority expression and identity cultivation is my passion. So, as a writer for Tales, I will amplify the stories of my people that have been lost to history or among the majority. Reaching others, especially those who grew up without seeing themselves represented in popular stories as I did, on the Tales platform would be a dream come true. In regards to the subjects of my writing, I focus normally on culture/race, trauma, and spirituality.
