Retribution of the Wicked

In 1645, Matthew Hopkins was making a name for himself. To most of England, he was a God-sent, capturing the evil witches attempting to hide among the masses. But to the unfortunate, Hopkin’s mere name invoked fear. The lawyer terrorized the outcasts, torturing them to death. His reign of terror lasted until his death in 1647. The cause of death was announced as a natural illness. But was it really? Our story begins with a secret coven of witches, incensed by the torment of unlucky wretches. Did the Witchfinder General truly die of tuberculosis, or did his targets merely seize their vengeance?
