Eric is a lifelong fantasy and mystery writer who began frantically scribbling at the tender age of 7 because his geekdom made him a natural outcast. 50+ short stories and 3 books never saw the light of day. At the age of 29, he became a professional game designer and writer in the game industry. Since that time, he continues to write for game, elearning, as and the interactive fiction space. In his capacity as a game and narrative designer, Eric strives to normalize people of colour and the LGBTQ+ community in the fantasy genre where they are (still) vastly underrepresented in mainstream storytelling. He has suffered from night terrors for 30 years, but he tries not to subject any readers to such nightmarish dreamscapes (so far). He lives in the Bay Area with his husband and their ironically tiny dog named Zombie.
