Alex Falcone is the only comedian and writer living in Los Angeles. He’s appeared in several episodes of Portlandia as one of Fred’s nerdy friends and recently made his late night debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert where he mostly talked about how rad his wife is. He is the author of a young-adult romance novel about a mummy called Unwrap My Heart that Publisher’s Weekly called “unfortunate” and became an Amazon best seller after he made a TikTok about it. Despite these modest accomplishments, he’s somehow remained down to earth and approachable.

Edgy writer who loves a good twist
I fell in love with “Choose Your Own Adventure” books as a youngster, and it brought my life full circle to create an updated version of them as an adult. I come from a screenwriting background with a passion for role-playing. I currently live in the LA area and have two daughters, one of whom (the only one old enough to read) loves to play Tales stories.

Growing up with an abundance of imagination and time, Alexandra focused her energy on whittling away the hours, inside of her own head. Upon becoming an adult, she began writing stories, which manifested into screenplays, manuscripts, songs, and poetry. Along the way, she earned a B.A. Degree in Psychology, and became a Certified Science of Happiness Specialist. Her prolific writing accomplishments can be seen on Amazon, a wide range of online platforms, and, likely, at the bottom of the nearest trash receptacle.

IF writer, Narrative Designer, Translator (EngGer)
I’m a native of Germany and went through quite some career changes in my life. After school, I became a bank clerk, studied biology, and finished with a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. When I couldn’t find a job in this field without moving away from my family, I became a teacher.
But, in the end, I followed my guts, my passion, and said screw it all, and turned my hobby into my job.
My mind is full of stories, but I always lack time to write them down properly. Now I’m starting to change that.
Since the end of 2019, I got various writer and translation jobs offered, more than I could take up. I am grateful to anyone who took a gamble with me. Someone who has no formal education but works hard to bring forth great stories.
Thank you!

Ariadne Tay brings the East to audiences of the West, bridging the cultural gap in fiction with her unique perspective. Striving to create an experience with her writing, she drags readers into her world with zero regard for their feelings. Those who have read her works have commented that she’s great with hot scenes, humour, and hot scenes with humour. That being said, her multidimensional characters have personalities that extend past stuffing reproductive sausages into ham wallets, and they might even make you cry.
At some point in her younger years, Ariadne wanted to be a neurosurgeon, a software engineer, and a game designer, but decided that neither attending med school nor debugging code were fun. Instead, she went to journalism school for her master’s degree, then got paid to write nonfiction pieces for a print magazine. She now uses those wordsmithing skills to make readers feel things about people who don’t exist.
Journalist who writes smut
She loves swoony romances and is addicted to sweet tea. When she’s not teaching or writing happily ever afters, she can be found snuggled up with a book, travelling, or quoting obscure lines from her favorite movies and tv shows. She lives in a small town in Georgia with her favorite person in the world—her husband, and their sweet and chatty spoiled cat, Cleo.

Introducing Ms. Imposter Syndrome
Bethany Vyne is an English graduate with a passion for reading poetry and editing everything she comes across–like a misspelled “we’re indefinitelly [sic] out of onion rings” sign at a chain restaurant. Yeah, she’s /that/ person. She probably should have gone into screenwriting instead because her scene-setting and dialogue are wholesome and authentic as opposed to her narrative prose, which she feels is contrived, but maybe she simply suffers from imposter syndrome. It’s hardly fatal, but it’s quite contagious. Her literary heroes are mainly early women writers; they really did something! She hopes to do something, too.

Fantasy, science fiction and horror author of stories to make you laugh and cry. But mostly laugh.
Although born in the coldest part of Australia, Chris has lived much of his life in searing deserts, including the Tanami, the Great Victoria, and the Kalahari in southern Africa. His passion for fantasy and science fiction began early, when a year 1 teacher took his class to see Star Wars at a cinema in a nearby town, and it has not diminished a single iota since that day.
His early career took him to the remotest parts of Australia, and eventually overseas to Botswana and Tanzania. After returning home, he began writing in 2010 and hasn’t looked back. His work has appeared in Australian and international publications and in 2017 he began writing branching narratives for 3 Minute Games, and later Big Fish Games. He currently writes branching narrative fantasy stories for Tales, while slowly working towards completing his much neglected (but loved) crime fiction novel. He lives with his partner in Tasmania, Australia.
