Just before the Climate Crisis comes to a head, a brilliant geneticist, Londisizwe Bellows, creates a unique solution. He develops a mutagen to evolve human volunteers into a new species that thrives on greenhouse gasses and converts them to a breathable air mixture. The only problem is that the new species, the self-named Carbians, physically resemble zombies, and they are just as hard to kill.
